Itinerary

1Bangkok – Arrival

Upon arrival to Bangkok airport, meet and transfer to the hotel

2Bangkok – Ayuthaya – Phitsanuloke

Depart from the hotel in Bangkok to bang-pa-in, visit the former summer palace of the rama kings, then continue to ayuthaya, the ancient capital of siam, to visit the ruins, 3 temples (Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat, Wat Phanang Choeng). Continue to Lopburi

Lunch en route at a local restaurant

Visit to prang Sam yod and Phra kan shrine and then proceed to Phitsanuloke

Dinner and overnight at hotel

3Phitsanuloke – Sukhothai – Lampang

Visit the ancient city of Sukhothai, the museum and Sri Satchanalai

On the way stop at a local village

Continue to Lampang

Dinner and overnight at hotel

4Lampang – Chiang Mai

Visit Wat Phathat Lampang Luang and continue to visit Wat Haripoonchai in Lampoon.

Lunch en route at a local restaurant.

After lunch continue to visit handicraft village at bo sang and san Kamphaeng, which is the center of cotton industries, traditional local products, antiques from Burma and hill tribe handicrafts, hand-woven silk and cotton and wood carving.

5Chiang Mai

Visit the one of most revered temples in Chiang Mai: Wat Doi Suthep, located high in the mountains, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the whole Chiang Mai area

Return to lunch at the hotel

The afternoon is at leisure

In the evening enjoy a northern Thai Kantoke dinner with various shows and performances of hill tribes. Overnight at hotel

6Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai

Visit an elephant training camp to see a demonstration of elephant at work (elephant ride is optional and not included in this program).

Lunch at a local restaurant

Take an exciting long tail boat trip from Pha Tai To Chang Rai along the way, visit the various hill tribe villages.

Dinner and over night at hotel

7Chiang Rai – Bangkok

Visit the local hill tribe village and continue to a small trading town of Mae Sai. Proceed to visit the “golden triangle”, the area where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet.

Lunch at imperial golden triangle resort

Visit the historical city of Chiang Saen then transfer to Chiang Rai airport.

Upon arrival to Bangkok airport, meet and transfer to the hotel

8Bangkok
